Sponsor a Post

In general, I'm not desperate enough to write entire articles advertising someone else's business or website. However, for small amounts of money, I can add your business/name and a link to your website, Facebook page, or other means of business at the end of the post, and you can even choose what I write about! This also gives me motivation to finish blog posts sooner. Here are the options for sponsoring a blog post and the details for each type of sponsorship:

General Sponsor: $5

If you sponsor a post for $5, you don't get to choose the subject, but it'll usually be done sooner than any other option--a few days to a week at most. At the end of the post, I'll add something along the lines of: "This post was sponsored by [your name/business]. Find their [art, store, Facebook page, etc] at [link]!" On these posts, I will probably also add a link to this page and/or my Patreon after that message.

Topic Sponsor: $10

For $10, you get to choose a general topic (gender, disability, politics, biology, etc) that I write a post/article about. This way I get to choose the specifics (and maybe pick from the many posts I've already started) and it'll also be quicker than a specific sponsorship--probably one to two weeks. This means I get to write something that I'm interested in, but you can make sure it's relevant to what you want to advertise. I can turn down some topics, but we would discuss the topic before payment, so you won't be paying me until after I've verified what the post would be about. Again, your name/business and a link of your choice will be at the bottom of the post.

Specific Subject Sponsor: $15+

At this level, you get to choose exactly what I write about to make sure it interests the demographic you want to target. If you give me certain words for search-engine optimization, I'll try to fit those in. Since I would be starting a new post entirely, it may take up to a month to write, especially if it's a topic that isn't very interesting to me. I put $15+ because some subjects will cost more than others. I also maintain a right to turn down any subject I don't want to write about, but as I mentioned in the Topic Sponsor category, we will discuss what exactly I'm writing, how much it will cost, etc. before payment. At the bottom of the post I will add a short paragraph of your choosing with your name and a link to your business, social media, etc.

Notes:

  • I will not take sponsorships from any political group advocating for transphobia, racism, misogyny, antisemitism, islamophobia, homophobia, or any other form of bigotry, or supporting a candidate or political party with these beliefs.
  • Religious groups may sponsor a post as long as the specific group does not advocate any of the above topics or anti-choice sentiments--even if the religion in general is stereotyped to adhere to bigoted beliefs.
  • I will not link people to a site that contains porn or sells NSFW products or media, excluding trans/gnc prosthetics (packers, falsies, etc).
  • I will not take a sponsorship from anyone who sells or promotes weapons, especially guns, or violates Blogger's content policy.
  • I reserve the right to refuse a sponsorship from anyone.

Realism When Writing About Aliens

Note: to avoid having to explain myself every time I use a big word and potentially boring readers who already know it, this time I've started using footnotes. If you don't know a word and there's a number next to it, the footnotes will either have a definition/explanation or a link to something that explains it better than I can. I also use footnotes for sources. There's still a great amount of debate among most people about whether or not there are life forms on planets other than ours. Sometimes this theory is shot down as unrealistic altogether, especially when it comes to intelligent life forms. Most evidence to disprove the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life is within the categories of "we haven't found life on any of the other planets in our solar system" or "we've never been contacted by aliens." The Effect of Male Privilege on Trans People

So, as a trans guy who didn't come out until I was 14, I was raised in the same way that a cis girl would be. My transfeminine friends, in their late teens, who still aren't out to everyone, were raised like boys. This is messed up, because everyone should be raised the same regardless of gender or agab (assigned gender at birth), but we weren't and kids still aren't. If you ask a TERF (trans exclusionary radical feminist), trans women have male privilege until they come out as trans, and trans men don't. To a certain degree, they're correct, but that in no way means that trans women are privileged over trans men, and especially not over cis women. The thing is, my friends were raised with what most people would call male privilege. They were never sexualized or objectified, they were never told what they can or can't be, and they were able to walk places by themselves once they reached a certain age without fear of being harassed, assaulted, or murdered....
